hold on……. all this time she was trying to go DOWN the stairs?? I thought she was trying to climb up, she couldn’t make it so she went back down and now you’re telling me all this time she was going down, stopping, and going BACK UP??? that makes no sense, how did she not have the strength to continue down but going back up was fine 😭

am I just supposed to forget this is the woman who let her youngest sister go into the woods and hunt for their food while she did fuck all to help and then complained about what her sister brought home? why is she so annoying, I liked her in the previous books 😭
