My pace has slowed wayyyyy down on this and I’m starting to struggle with picking it up. I think we’re finally moving into the next big arc, but there was a lot of slow moving downtime in between then and now. Curious to see what’s coming in the next arc!

No spoilers plzzz! Each separation in this book hurts like hell, but I’m hoping there’s a time jump coming up soon just to give Duan Ling time to mature and not be so reliant on every older male he meets as a father figure. He feels too immature still for me to root for his romantic endeavors. I’m loving the character dev and its pacing, but he just needs a bit of solitary growth so he’s not codependent

I'm excited to see what you think! It took me a hot minute to get used to the present tense, going from the first 7seas volume! I jumped right in, too! It was great!! I loved it!

I loved it!"The present tense is actually what forced me to read the SS versions first XD I'm not the biggest fan of present tense, but I'll adjust. Thankfully there aren't too many changes between the translations other than that!
