this book is a lot more scientific than I thought it'd be. it refers to a lot of work done by other psychologists (experiments, studies, etc). nonetheless, it's still interesting to have ideas of intimacy and emotional security written as vital human needs, instead of solely for the 'weak minded'. I feel like i'm reading a psychology textbook, its eye opening and intriguing enough to keep going though.
