this book is so much better than the first two, despite it not being that technically different, and it never fails to shock me. reread rtc !!

The best part about this book is that Steris is finally treated like a central character, and it does in fact make me like this book more than I probably objectively should

I have high hopes that I will actually enjoy rereading this one. It was the only era 2 book I enjoyed last time around, but of course this time I also get to experience The Lost Metal, which in my initial Cosmere read hadn’t been released. Super exciting stuff !!

I’ve finished Part 2:

Okay I am enjoying this book so much?? I LOVE Steris more than anything and her and Wax are adorable (Wayne and MeLaan are great too). I love the plot of this one, and most of all I love the relationships between this found family. It’s amazing!

I’ve finished Part 1:

Solid start to the book. I’m really happy that Steris is coming along for the adventure, she’s really grown on me. I’m also really glad Wayne has FINALLY gotten over Ranette. I don’t care who he gets with (Marasi or MeLaan) as long as they actually like him😭
