The multiple POVs are really slowing down this story. Also, I’m so worried that someone I care about is going to die. Anyway. Still a good story, but it’s hovering at 4 stars, unless the last 30% kicks it into a higher atmosphere.

This is gonna take me a minute, not the least of which that I am trying to remember the salient plot details* from books one and two. But, it’s the last category (local author to Columbus, IN) for a bookstore reading challenge so I gotta go, go, go!

*Note to authors: please include recaps at the beginning of the last book of a series so readers aren’t scrambling to get into the new installment, thanks!
