none of the characters — other than briggs and judd — seem too compelling to me. they all follow very obvious stereotypes and that "weird" standard we usually see in those portrayed as super smart or possessing a special ability, which is the case of our naturals here. the plot, 'till now, is investing enough, and i'm genuinely curious to know who the "you" chapters told by!

LOCKE CANT BE THE UNSUB SHES LIKE THE ONE CHARACTER I ACTUALLY LIKE WHAT THE FUCK. also, michael cant fucking die, as much as i find him to be a bit annoying from time to time and actually prefer cassie with dean over him. theyre both in a competition to know who has more trauma accumulated tho... actually, all of the naturals seem to be doing that. the investigation aspect of this book is pretty good not gonna lie

the characters still kinda suck (even if i really like the adults and LIA MY GIRL), but they have decent enough personalities and pasts when theyre alone. cassie should 100% get with dean (even if I find any romance she might have with anyone a bit stupid all in all), theyre trauma bonding or whatever tf they call that. i have so many questions.. why is the unsub obsessed with cassie's mother? who is he?

these characters are all so annoying wtf (apart from the adults tbh, as in judd, briggs and locke), they're all the definition of stereotypes and their dynamic kinda sucks 'cause wdym both dean and michael are already deeply in love with cassie when she's been around for a month (and lia is right there, yk?$
