This book is better than its low rating would suggest. I think it’s a general unfamiliarity and misunderstanding with karma, dharma, ahimsa and other Hindu and Buddhist concepts among the people picking it up tbh. Ashoka and Shakti both have great character arcs

I thought the cover was a little weird at first, but after actually being more than halfway through the book, I understand what the symbolism is behind it and I think it’s very apt
