I know this is a horror book, so horrible things are likely to happen, but that last chapter was just BRUTAL. Like I'm not someone who usually reads trigger warnings because I don't really get triggered (and I mean that in the medical/psychological sense, not the TikTok-ification of the word), but that was actually very hard to read

That whole end to the chapter was awful, but I mostly feel bad for that poor beaver
