DAMMIT LAINI 😭 I didn't see the clues and I am shooketh.

I enjoy this narrator, and while his voice is a little too soothing, I am invested in this series now. After The Ninth Rain I needed a new epic, and here it is.

I started this for the drive home, it has fantasy heavy wording and world-building is happening quickly. But maybe being too tired on the drive made this hard for me to follow/recall even a day later. This may need to be a physical read.
