I still stand on my previous comment, but I can't wait for the twist/switch up.

I can’t wait for Sciona to suffer even a fraction of what Tomil has suffered. I CAN’T WAIT😫😫.

What she just said to Tomil has solidified my hate for her. The only thing to make me like her even 1% is the craziest twist possible.

I can't wait for Sciona's waking to her prejudice cuz good lord the line "Oh you are different from them, you're educated." had me so irate it's not even funny.

I see what the book is trying to bring up in regards classism, sexism, racism, and theological disputes in regard to how it effects people of non/opposed faith.

The way Sciona is talking about Tommy and his people is such a hard thing to listen to. Like I know what the book is doing but as an African American WOMAN no less it’s truly pissing me off. Like you are talked down upon cuz you are a woman yet in the same breathe you talk down about Tommy’s people🤨. I need her to stop soon or I might need to put this book on pause for a while.
