Aequa’s beef with Emissa is so funny to me, because like both of you have betrayed Vis and yet you’re holding a grudge against Emissa for it. Sidenote, Vis being forced to learn how to dance in Obituem has got to be one of the funniest things I’ve read. Also I am happy that in Luceum Vis was finally able to tell the truth about his past and release himself from that burden.

We’ll talk about a cliff hanger, I know need to sit in a corner and contemplate what the heck I just read and how I feel about it.

So like WTF is going on!!! I have so many questions and I am deeply confused. Not to mention all the grief in these past chapters is breaking my heart. I don’t know how this book will end an I am nowhere near prepared. This has definitely been a journey.

Everything hurts and the more I read the more I am emotionally eviscerated. Those last chapters I read were brutal, and I honestly can say that I have no idea how this book will end. Know that this isn’t the last book in the series makes me both anxious and excited for what is to come.

I want to kick Gallchobhar’s ass, I can’t believe what he just did to Vis and Lir. I hope he dies a miserable death. Also I hope Vis’s father comes to rescue him because he can’t go out like that. At this point, I don’t think I am finishing this book the book is finishing me 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Every time I think I can’t be more shocked, surprise here comes another chapter to shock the hell out of me. What do you mean that Vis’s father is in Luceum this entire time he was there!!!! I honestly have so many questions and thoughts, but I am most curious to know how Vis is going to survive Fornax. I’m anxious and petrified for Vis and a little excited.

I am speechless, I am literally an amalgamation of emotions right now. Part 2 just ended and I am even more anxious for part 3 to start. I was really sad that Ahmose died and truthfully I think it was Netiqret’s fault that Ahmose did what he did. I also don’t feel bad that Diago killed all of those military officials, I feel like in order for Vis to do it would be very mentally damaging for him.

That hurt 😔 I know at some point during this book I will cry harder. But reading that last chapter made me kind of teary eyed.

The more I learn about the cataclysm the more I worry about what Vis will have to do to stop from coming. It feels like every other chapter Vis’s life is in danger and he has to make the impossible happen. I will say this book has some fire quotes.

I’m glad that Vis in Res survived and won the race, but I am growing increasingly more concerned for Vis in Obituem. Like I really hope that him and Ahmose don’t get caught going through that gate. Sidenote fuck Tertius Decimus, I can’t stand that idiot how dare he challenge Vis’s status as Domitor after everything he has lost.

Honestly I hope Vis is able to defeat the kings guard because this is definitely an unfair fight that they set him up with. I feel bad about life debt situation, it seemed like he finally found peace with his host family only to be ripped away from them and manipulated into having to defend himself in a clearly rigged trial.
