The whole ceiling becoming filled with mistletoe from Nolan’s magic was actually pretty romantic, props to the magic for that one!!

Ah yes, a man whose response to intense emotions about a woman’s choice to wear certain clothes is to punch the nearest wall is DEFINITELY someone I’d feel safe with. /s

You know what’s not sexy? A man.
You know what’s totally not sexy? A man that complains about his job WAY too much.

Oh my god the start of this chapter is giving me flashbacks to working in supermarket retail at Christmas time… too real 😂

‘“And your voice. What is going on with that?” I arch an eyebrow. “My accent?”
She nods.
“I died Irish.”
Her brows pinch together. “You’re not Irish anymore?”
“No, I’m still Irish.”’

This did make me laugh XD

Very abrupt end to the chapter, like, this ghost is just in her house?? In A Christmas Carol, there was a bit more preamble of Scrooge being a bad person. Harriet doesn’t seem… bad per se, but does seem to have some unhealthy coping mechanisms for family-related issues that are being alluded to.
