Sneevliet was actually evil. The Comintern adopting a Menshevized revolution policy for China was a travesty. The CPC “bloc within” the GMD just diverted workers from the CPC and emboldened the right wing of the GMD. Doesn’t help that Stalin also supported the stageist revolution here, but that was adopted as early as 1920. Opportunism, plain and simple. I’m starting to get Gorter’s response to Lenin more.
