it seems with polar voyages its invariably 'a whole bunch of nothing happens'.

ive always thought that icebreakers pierce into the ice to move along but thats not the case. they have rounded bows to slide onto the ice and break it apart. very neat. ofc a powerful engine is a must. otherwise u just get trapped the way endurance did.
