You know what? I’m so tired of reading books that disappoint me this month that a hearty dose of Bateman is needed. So here I am, sat in my £749 reading chair from ‘Furnitureland’, wearing my £19.99 Nike tracky bottoms from ‘Sports Direct’, enjoying a cup of tea from the exclusive brand ‘Yorkshire Tea’ in my bone china cup with two Rich Tea biscuits by the bakery ‘McVities’. It’s raining out and I’m indoors. Nice.

Going back to familiar favorites helps me reset when I’m feeling disenchanted by recent reads. They’re like a comfort blanket of sorts. Happy reading! 🤗
