That surprises me. It's beautifully written. I admire how he can have a character going through the full degradation of drug addiction, not pull any punches, and still generate empathy. King manages to combine venality and intelligence and make it just feel human and normal.

All I can say is you’ll see. I agree that it is beautifully written and King is one of the best at creating characters you feel for. I absolutely loved it and I hope you do too. It’s in my King Top 5 list. 🙂
