It’s hard to pick up a Gaiman book after the kerfuffle surrounding the sex abuse allegations, but this is a short book and a former Goodreads choice nominee — which is the main reason I’m reading it, for a challenge bookmark. It won a lot of awards when it was published, but I wasn’t impressed by American Gods when I read it, so I will reserve judgement until I’m finished.
