I will continue to sing high praises to this audiobook narrator. The story overall continues to try to address too many things at once that makes it hard to follow. It’s reminding me of The Order of the Phoenix

I’m enjoying this book, but I also feel that it’s overly descriptive with Black vernacular and Black male life. You don’t need to include every single Black issue in this book… Anyway, still enjoying the HBCU magic and the villain’s plot.

Mentioning Whitney, The Preacher’s Wife and singing I Love the Lord instantly moves this up to one of my fave reads of the year. I’m also loving the seriousness of the second book as well! The narrator is *chef’s kiss*
