this book is stressing me out lmao. totally valid that a bunch of eighth-graders would be scared in NYC by themselves. Stacey is not a good host hahahaha. Bestie, when your friends aren’t from NY and visit you, sometimes they’ll look like tourists. Bc they are. And there’s nothing inherently wrong or embarrassing about that. (Other than maybe making them obvious targets)
