Knowing what it's like to have this kind of love, I don't think I can hate Heathcliff no matter how evil he becomes or what he does now that Catherine is dead 😔

Little Cathy wanting to go see the place where her mother grew up without knowing that's what it is is so ironic and so sad...

Another iconic line, if only because Edward Cullen agreed with it... I am seeing that this will be a tragic tale to rival Romeo and Juliet and am both extremely excited for how much I know I will relate to Catherine and Heathcliff's depth of love, as someone with a soulmate myself, and terrified of the pain and hours of sobbing I am surely about to experience.

I'm loving this book so far - I love Catherine, I don't find her irritating at all! I actually think the narrator is a bit more annoying.

The iconic quote almost made me cry - "Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." 💗 I was hoping she would choose Edgar until that passage, but now I'm convinced it's true love! I didn't even know it was from this book!
