Final note 86% on it just speeds up too quickly for me. But at the same time it’s kinda grown and healthy conflict that’s not too tumultuous which I also enjoy tho I admit I like to know what I’m expecting most of the time.
5 stars for me.

Fatherhood- Teddy. Mello, Daniela being a family. Seeing Teddy with O. I love the scene where Daniela sees them holding hands and he drops his hand. It kind reminds of Lyla Sage’s bk 3rd one in the Done and Dusted series— just that both Mello and the mmc have built real lives as single parents with co parents. Celia + Liv moments = the song, the lessons, the emails. > feel like come real things. very sweet

Off the page moment— could be an adult thing to have this big convo casually. It’s very incomplete for them. He mentions it ( which is big deal) and never addresses it again. She doesn’t want to pry but what else.

I like the part where she’s live I’ve trusted you with my big confessions. She doesn’t feel like its totally reciprocated she sees fears dictate his choices. She cannot be this antidote.

Mufasa. This very soft coded book. O and Mello have avoided any neg tension for 70% of book. First fight feels scary even outside out of their brains and health. With that it’s a more tender moment. It’s hard thing to admit what’s going on in your brain when you’ve kept it to yourself for so long. Underneath all of it is moment where she’s like she you have to stop living I’m leaving.

I like this book so much I want to directly refer this book to people. I am not super socially outgoing don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable but I think they’d love it.

Carmello approach when talking Daniela down.

I love this man tremendously. What a perfect human being. I love what he tells her. how he acts. Teddy scenes are so good- Riss is a mother. I am not a mother but as a daughter I feel so moved. It’s so beautifully part of the story.

I could be bad but I wouldn’t do that you moments: when character could make things saucier but puts the other first :))

I’m 60% through and really I love it so much. It’s def making my favorites list top 5 romances for sure. It’s a simmer. we all know it’s coming but the slow walk is great. flirting, respect, whole relationships, gooey kindnesses, life live without each other, evergreen memories with each other, whole lot of love. I root so hard for them. Riss M. Neilson needs to write more romances. I love this a whole lot.

one of the sweetest romances ever. I think a lot of times when people come back into each other’s life with baggage ( in modern romance subcultures) things just feel snippy and there’s a lot of anger but these two have lot of fondness that isn’t coming out wrong but is still under wraps to an extent but is present. it’s also their traits. They’re both emo intelligent esp when it comes to each other.

All my updates are like I’m loving it.

Nooo too soon flashbacks I enjoy the actual flashbacks when I am enjoying the present. This so not new. Im always like this.

I love reading writers I've read before after a while. It's relaxing to step into their work. There's something that puts me at ease. Sunset calm. Setup is so delightful. Parental loss.
