I understand it's for entertainment purposes, but I wouldn't take Geoffrey of Monmouth as a credible source. Sure, it's funny to link Aeneas and Brutus to Britain (with the name descending from it, ignoring the Britones already living there ), but that's about it. To point out his credibility, I'd point to the chapter about Merlin's prophetic dream.
