I understand it's for entertainment purposes, but I wouldn't take Geoffrey of Monmouth as a credible source. Sure, it's funny to link Aeneas and Brutus to Britain (with the name descending from it, ignoring the Britones already living there ), but that's about it. To point out his credibility, I'd point to the chapter about Merlin's prophetic dream.

Ugh, be consistent in your references: either tell the story concisely, or refer to your previous books. Not both!
Also, the amount of references to your own work is getting worrisome.

"Perhaps the first, but certainly not the last, time that a skid mark gave the game away.": Stephen Fry having some cheeky (pun intended) fun in the commentary.
"Thank you, Stephen, we didn't need that.": his editors having none of it.
