i shoved him, because i wanted him to fight me for it. i wanted him to prove that he wanted to touch me because this was real and not because it was easy.

he wanted to drag his pain out into the open and force everyone to look at it. they didn’t want to look at it. they never do.

and all i could think was that he was beautiful.
