finished part 4 (the axiom of equality). i am simultaneously so mad and so upset at what was addressed in this part. jude, my baby, he—as we're finding out—has been through so much trauma and it's honestly really sickening to read. by far the saddest part. i feel so bad for him. he was a kid. next part is called the happy years but im not hopeful that it's going to be happy, knowing where the book has been going.

finished part 5 (the happy years) and am reporting the years weren't that happy, but they did get better. ALSO, WHY DID IT END LIKE THAT AM I DUMB? i enjoy willem and judes relationship so much, it was great to see its ups and downs throughout this part. they are two of my favourite characters in this book so i find great pleasure in reading them. i know people cry at the end of this book so EEEKK (i won't but EEEEK)
