So, Lancelot is definitely gay. While I do not wish to boo yaoi, it does cheapen the friendship between him and Vera a bit by making this a gay best friend situation. The book hasn’t actually done an official reveal yet, so I could be wrong, but I don’t think I am.

I have a feeling that I will not like this book, but for whatever reason, I am determined to give it a try anyways. I feel like I’ve never read a King Arthur retelling that I’ve actually liked. Despite this, and despite the fact that I stated I would never do this again at the end of my Tam Lin presentation, I am contemplating an Arthurian reading project. This would definitely entail a lot more books though….
