Chapters 3 and 4 were beautifully done. The art and the story were entertaining and touching. For her to realize her potential with the skills she learned from her mom and to apply them in a stunning manner was so satisfying. (Helps she put agott in her place with that win).

Chapter 2 has me both excited and nervous for Coco’s future.. it’s clear she’s going to be ostracized by the others because of her sudden apprenticeship as a grave consequences of using a forbidden spell on her own mother. I’d have liked to hope she at least had Qifrey but he’s suspect bc of that call.
