Zenith is such a good word, plus I knew the meaning of it prior to this book!!

Unfortunately for me I like WAY too many of the characters ever been introduced to so far (sidebar: the fact that there are def gonna be many more catchers introduced in this book because we haven’t even gotten o the Academy yet, and yet I’m more than 200 pages into the book???? Diabolical), and I do foresee me getting my heart broke by the end of this, I’m gonna be so sad one way or another

It must be a really freaking BIG arena to have a lake on the middle that’s at like a mile wide

I think my favorite thing abt this book so far that makes it stand out from others is how Vis gets to act his age. Like yes he’s super smart and focused and traumatized and whatnot but he’s also 17 and annoying and thinks he’s better than everyone and has a temper and an ego. Like he thinks he’s funny and he’s rude half of the time and I really really like the choice to make him act his age

Where is James Islington from?? What the hell kind of a spelling is manoeuvre?? Freaking brits

Man I really like Ulciscor, I hope he doesn’t try to kill vis too much once he finds out who he is (assuming he doesn’t already know)
