Bro when her dad got caught and he finally showed his true colours-IM SO PISSED OFF THE FIRST THING HE SAID WAS “Bravo.” He had the worst reaction ever, because he acted like a Disney villain instead of a human with the typical “Bravo, I almost got you if it weren’t for you meddling kids.”

I’m gonna be very honest, I’m pissed off about Alex. He’s acting too much like a fictional character, specifically a mafia boss, and it’s crushing the realism feeling you get when you’re reading and trying to picture it in real life. I wish his character would have slightly more emotion and personality.

Nice introduction with Ava - and her cute demeanour - and Alex - with his bratty personality and arrogance. I like how we didn’t have to wait for the two characters to interact with each other, and in the first chapter we already get a glimpse of their relationship. Although i have to admit i think hes a bitch.
