Interesting to see the anti-Terran stigma mirrored in this book and Flight of the Eisenstein. Also, the conversation between Gage and Guilliman is interesting to see. Even though Gage is a very senior officer, I haven’t really seen any primarchs (so far Horus, Mortarion, Dorn, Fulgrim, Sanguinious, & Angrontalk so casually with their astartes, except for maybe Horus and his Mournival.

I don’t like the Orks, I think Great Crusade novels should focus on more obscure or new Xenos species. However, I think the contrast between Guilliman’s way of war and the Orks works for thematic effect. Also interesting to see how Guilliman’s already has beef with Fulgrim. Something tells me this will be a simple story though.
