Phedre reads the letter from Melisande and after much arguing, Joscelin agrees to go quietly to La Serenissima to allow Melisande to see Imriel. They will play it as if they never went to Iskandria, and Pharaoh won’t say anything (as he is in league with Melisande). Phedre plans something at this meeting with Melisande … but what?
