I’m not quite sure if it’s good, that interesting, or I like it, but I’m going to continue. Sara said I’m crazy. The book is a style that I haven’t read in a while and about a topic I don’t know much about, and although I’m having a meh time, I feel compelled to read it. So I will. I’m already halfway through anyway.

Everyone knows that I love a book that has a little bit of romance. Once they introduced one, it just felt better. Sue me. I like complex relationships. In general, the entire book felt like a biography about a vacuum cleaner, which is not the most interesting, but at the end when it became more about the grandmother, it was heartfelt. Not bad. 2 stars.

Meh. I’m learning a lot, but there’s not a lot going on. He keeps bringing it back to the vacuum and I’m like — I get it. I’m not loving it. I might stop, but I wanna give it another little push. We’ll see.

Not at all what I was expecting. First of all I misread, and it’s written from a man’s perspective. And it’s in the Middle East, not America. I want to get a better grasp of the book before I make a real opinion.
