I liked the bit a the end of chapter about Scott being a “slow learner” and his early years of life and that being a roadblock for him to join and apply for organizations/schools. He persevered by playing the cello with the help of his grandfather that gave him lessons. This unlocked another gear to his learning and allowed him to achieve more with the true grit he had.

Nice opening so far, grit is a way of sticking it through. That is what I picking up so far.
