I hate this book.

Carol had no right to do what she did. She took over his house and started decorating without even trying to get to know him or warm him up to her; she just took over, and I found everything she did offensive.

He should have kicked her out.

There is no romantic chemistry at all. They do nothing to build it other than an award scene of him putting her to bed. There is nothing to this story at all.
