Something so funny about these early volumes is how smug these early villains are. Like 'oh you're messing with the fiercest pirates on the seas, Straw Hat!' When they're just some East Blue randoms

And then two volumes later the gang are getting their asses kicked by a Warlord (love you Mihawk)
