I think the jim carrey motion capture adaptation from disney is honestly a really accurate adaptation of this book (from what I can tell so far) but I’m really hoping that robert eggers delves more into how much of an actually evil capitalist scrooge is. like bro is even worse in the text

my friend got me a copy of a christmas carol last year After christmas 😭 so i’ve waited all year to read it :) starting tonight and hoping to finish it by christmas morning since it’s not long at all. i’m already loving it. i kind of find myself laughing at dickens’s over-explanations lmao
