The mutiny became apparent and I don’t know how I feel in a moral sense. Is it better to want to live and sin ? Or die by the naval code ? The moral ambiguity is my favourite part of this section. The speedwell has just arrived in Brazil and I’m eager to learn of Cheaps fate as Byron could’ve made it to Brazil as well. Was he wrong in trusting his captain ?

Fantastic book, great balance of historical accuracy and story telling. I feel as though the mutiny is on the horizon. How will they get off the island? Will the tribe come back? What will happen to the crew? Can’t stop reading
