the MC is really should to on a journey of discovering what friendship is after a life of always moving around and devoting your life to another person (her single mom, every boyfriend she’s ever had) but instead this MC bones the love interest and also forgets multiple plans with new bestie!
I get it’s a romance novel but damn the author is trying really hard to make me NOT like her!! Where is the growth??????

love how this book romanticizes small town michigan/great lakes midwest in the summer. but damn i don’t like this MC as a person but as a character, it’s an interesting arc.
