I’m wanting more action, but I’m enjoying the story. The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite stories/movies.

Descriptions are long and explained more than needed, but it's an interesting enough story.

LOTS of descriptions. Almost an unnecessary amount. I get it, the water glistens and shimmers.

Can Ariel save her father from Ursula’s magical prison?

Ursula won and Ariel still doesn’t have a voice. Which makes being Queen pretty difficult, but merpeople have sign language! I love that.
