Unable to finish this tonight unfortunately as I am far too sleepy and I have work tomorrow but these letters feel so intimate like a genuine emotional hug and I for sure feel immersed in the 1903 European world of scholars. Talks about beauty, solitude, finding yourself, art, and poetry feel immensely comforting and the relationship between Rilke and Xaver feels wholesome and genuine love despite having never met.
