i just realied the first book is called truly devious and that's the most funny part about it

lol yeah the sign off of this kidnapper/murderer in the 1930s who left a note signed it "truly, devious" so i've only thought about it in that context.
is this real? or in the context of the book bc the title doesnt even have the comma...
the book, it's the case the main character is investigating (set present day). Yeah for some reason everyone in the book calls them truly devious instead of just devious, it's kinda strange
