I usually really enjoy Cara Bastone's stories, especially these full-cast ones on audio. But this might be the first middle-of-the-road book of hers for me because of all of these random musical interludes from the main character. It's really taking me out, but I'm sure it's because I'm biased and have yet to like a book with a musician as the main character.
