Reminds me of A Room of One’s Own. “Failing” writer contending with the effects wealth and financial stability have on the ability to create art. By design, poverty (ie capitalism) stunts creativity. Creating art = protest. Funnier narration than some of Orwell’s more popular works, enjoying it!
