It is December 27, 2025 and I have just finished the best book I have read this year. Holy fuck. What a ride. This book simply has it all. From the sharp, clear, precise language to the world building and the magic, to the plot twists, to the MCs that are so, so well suited to each other, to that devastating last word. I would very much for book two to get here sooner, but I’ll have to settle for 2026. Go read this.

33%. Still enjoying the hell out of this book. Not much time to read, as I am currently on a skiing holiday in Austria (wheee!), but reading as soon as I get home from the slopes each afternoon. These MCs are just so uniquely suited to each other! It’s gorgeous.
