Barely on chapter 3 but already this seems like exactly the kind of fantasy I’m dying to reading right now.
Christians vs fairies and the old gods is a big yes for me.
Tonally, this seems to fall somewhere between “Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell” by Susanna Clarke and “The Devils” by Joe Abercrombie (two of my favorite reads this year).
