Another quick little update.
1. I have become actuely aware how much my background in English lit is influencing my opinion. I can see how the characters may seem pretentious to others, but speak to some theater or Eng Lit majors and you'll see...
2. I'm sensing some Oliver/James. Curious to see where this goes!

I had to double check whether the writer was British or American, because the novel is set in the US but some specific words/phrases sounded very English. It could have been due to the characters practicing Shakespeare but.... (and I was semi-right, US author who studied in London for a while + studied English Lit!).

Okay I was WRONG.

Placing my bet on Richard murdering someone (either on purpose or accidentally) and Oliver taking the blame.
