The Censor is struggling with interpretation and thinking for himself in a governmental society that only puts out media that they want you to see and that only aligns with their ideologies that stem from "logic." There is no interpretation in this world. Even religion has been reduced to feeling happy or sad, with sad being equal to Satan and happy to God. I'm now on part two. Wish me luck! Lol

Things are really starting to move now! This might be my favorite dystopian novel and I'm not even done with it. The premise is kind of similar to Fahrenheit 451, but it has kept my attention way better than Fahrenheit did. But then again, I did read Fahrenheit 451 the summer before 9th grade so...almost 12 years ago lol. I might have to go back and read it again to compare it with The Book Censor's Library.

I just got this one today, and while I should be reading the books that have been waiting for me in my home library, I started this one and haven't been able to put it down! It's super interesting so far and a little scary since some of the dystopian themes are close to what is going on in the world today, but if you're interested in dystopian novels and satire against censorship, I highly reccomend.
