I’ve skipped ahead to read the translated text of Pelagius’s work instead of musings on it by the author. And I found it far less convoluted to read.

This is a book written with other theologians & academics in mind, & not much for the everyday person wanting to understand Pelagius better.

This is not an especially thick book, but it’s text is tiny so the seeming length is rather deceiving. It took me over an hour to read just some 20 pages thus far, so the text is rather dense.

The author speaks a lot about Pelagius’s opponents in chapter one & less on the man himself. I hope that changes.
