I like how all the women are described to be certified baddies while besides one singular guy all the men are weird or egg-like 💀

Okay these are my theories so far:
1. Kent visited Miss Russell in the little house - potentially blackmailed her?
2. Ralph and the parlor maid are married and she might be pregnant
3. The colonel is def in love with Flora so could’ve needed enough money to woo her but I’m not convinced he’s the blackmailer
