ARBOREN!!! LAST OF MY LINE!!! WHAT IF I CRY

I think Fern’s flaw is the only instance in a story where I’ve /liked/ miscommunication as a story point (or trope). This one is quiet. But real.

Anyway have I told you how much I love and ADORE Astryx One-Ear, Blademistress, the Oathmaiden?

Man, this is such concise and heartfelt story of belonging and purpose. Surprisingly almost directly mirroring the existensialist musings I’m reading about in my other (non-fiction) book. Huh!

Action! Adventure! Adversaries! Bonding while reading books to one another! Rat-Romance! This tale has it all!!

I just adore how this series is written. Love a story that knows where it’s going, in the best simplest way; It’s so clear, and not lacking nor over-abundant in anyway. Good food

Love when insanely powerful elves let slip back into their innocence and youthful aspects. Also collecting those like pokemon

Unrelated, but I have come to realize Christmas is just medieval for me - maybe my seasonal craving for Sims Medieval is only natural when I’ve grown up watching Reisen Til Julestjernen and Tre Nøtter Til Askepott.
Well, no wonder cosy high fantasy books fits right in, then!
