No nice way to say this: so far, this book is very pretentious-sounding, tossing Polish terms left and right like us ENGLISH speakers (because, this book is written in English, what are the chances?!) are supposed to understand them.
Or waste time googling them, which I will not do.
A bad way to start, already looking like a DNF. 😒

Whew, okay. I'm hoping this will be good, but I just read two 5-star reads one after the other, and usually I never have the luck of 3 good books in a row (sometimes not even if they're from the same SERIES), so I'm trying not to have high hopes for this one.
